Wengfu Phosphate Mine Yingping Mine QC Team Project Awarded Special-Class Achievement Recognition by Guizhou Province
Recently, news came from the Guizhou Provincial Quality Management Association that the project Development of GKG Series High-Voltage Cabinet Four-Power Switching and Protection Device undertaken by the QC Team of Yingping Mine, Wengfu Phosphate Mine, stood out in the provincial quality management achievement evaluation and won the special-class achievement recognition. This achievement provides a new technical solution for the power supply safety of underground mines.
The deep Yingping phosphate deposit is a key project for Wengfu Phosphate Mine to expand into the deep underground. As the mine construction enters a critical stage, the stable operation of the underground power supply system has become an important link ensuring safe production. To improve power supply reliability, Yingping Mine adopted a four-power supply scheme in the south air shaft power supply and distribution system. In case of failure of any single power supply, the system can automatically switch to other power supplies to sustain continuous power for underground equipment, supporting safe production and emergency response.
However, achieving safe, rapid and accurate switching among multiple power supplies once posed a technical challenge. In response, Yingping Mine organized technical backbones to set up a QC research team to conduct research on automatic control of the power supply system. Based on an in-depth analysis of the shortcomings of the traditional hard-wired control mode, the team innovatively introduced PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) control technology. After repeated testing and on-site verification, automatic switching and interlock protection among multiple power supplies were realized through programming, enhancing the stability and maintainability of the power supply system and providing reliable support for safe mine power supply.
This achievement has not only effectively improved the safety and intelligent level of the mine power supply system, but also offered referable technical insights for the construction of similar complex power supply systems.
In recent years, Wengfu Phosphate Mine has continuously promoted technological innovation and quality management, solving technical problems in production and operation through QC research, "Five Smalls" innovation activities and other measures, and steadily elevating the intrinsic safety level of the mine. The award of the special-class achievement is not only a recognition of the enterprise’s technological innovation capability, but also a new impetus for the high-quality development of the mine.
