Recently, GPC FluoroSilicon Technology Co., Ltd. of GPC has officially deployed an intelligent inspection robot for full‑scenario on‑site plant inspections. This marks a leap‑forward upgrade in the company’s work‑safety management model from “passive manual inspection” to “proactive intelligent risk prevention”, injecting technological momentum into the high‑quality development of safety control.

Robot Under Inspection Operation

To tackle inspection challenges in production zones, tailored to actual work‑safety requirements, the company adopts the intelligent inspection robot to perform regular inspection missions in high‑risk areas instead of human workers, effectively mitigating safety hazards arising from on‑site high‑risk manual operations.

The newly‑launched intelligent inspection robot is equipped with multiple smart sensing devices including high‑definition cameras, infrared thermal‑imaging temperature‑measurement modules, toxic‑gas detectors, temperature sensors, and acousto‑optic early‑warning units. It delivers end‑to‑end capabilities covering automatic cruising, fixed‑point monitoring, data acquisition, anomaly identification, real‑time data transmission and intelligent early‑warning. During operation, the robot travels along pre‑set inspection routes. Collected inspection data is synchronously uploaded to the corporate work‑safety control platform to generate visual inspection ledgers, enabling real‑time access to inspection records, traceability of hidden risks and precise risk control.

Compared with conventional manual inspection, the intelligent robot enables round‑the‑clock non‑stop routine inspections. It greatly cuts operational risks for personnel and boosts efficiency in identifying equipment defects and conducting site patrols. Meanwhile, automatically archived and intelligently analyzed inspection data provides accurate support for equipment maintenance, process optimization and safety assessment. It drives the shift of safety management from “post‑incident response” toward “pre‑emptive prevention plus in‑process control”, further consolidating the foundation for safe production.
