Recently, an evaluation committee composed of authoritative experts in China's materials, chemical engineering and new energy sectors reached a unanimous conclusion that the key industrialization technologies and promotion & application project of ammonium phosphate for batteries, led and implemented by Wengfu Dazhou under China GPC, has attained an internationally advanced technical level overall and successfully passed the achievement evaluation.

Ammonium phosphate serves as a critical additive for lithium-ion battery electrolytes, and its quality is directly tied to the cycle life and thermal stability of batteries. As the new energy vehicle and energy storage industries accelerate their development, the downstream market has put forward higher requirements for the purity and stability of battery materials. Wengfu Dazhou has continuously intensified efforts in technological research and development, driving independent breakthroughs in key technologies. After three years of dedicated R&D, the project has carried out systematic research focusing on core technologies, and successfully established an industrialization technology system with independent intellectual property rights. The new product demonstrates excellent performance in terms of purity, crystal form consistency and electrochemical properties, with relevant indicators overall surpassing industry standards, enabling it to steadily meet the application demands of high-end battery materials. As of December 2025, the project has achieved large-scale production, with the cumulative output of high-quality ammonium phosphate products for batteries exceeding 50,000 metric tons.

Meanwhile, the project has yielded positive results in the transformation of scientific and technological achievements. It has filed 3 related patents, obtained authorization for 3 PCT patents, published 3 high-level academic papers, and taken the lead in formulating 2 industry standards, effectively driving technological progress and standardized development of the sector. At the evaluation meeting, the expert panel highly recognized the industrialization outcomes of the project, noting that the project will provide downstream battery enterprises with higher-quality material options, and play a positive role in boosting the high-quality development of the new energy vehicle and energy storage industries. The experts also suggested further strengthening theoretical research and industry-university-research collaborative innovation, and expanding the application of relevant technologies to emerging fields such as sodium-ion batteries and solid-state batteries.

Wengfu Dazhou will earnestly absorb the experts' opinions. In the next step, it plans to deepen cooperation with universities, research institutes and other institutions, continuously improve the technical system, and promote innovation achievements to better empower industrial upgrading.
