From September 16 to 18, Fi Asia Indonesia 2026 kicked off at the Jakarta International Expo. Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Group (GPC) took part in the exhibition, showcasing its core food ingredient products and engaging directly with ASEAN industrial clients to further explore the Southeast Asian food ingredient market.

Hosted by Informa Markets, Fi Asia ranks among Southeast Asia’s most authoritative and influential specialized events for food ingredients. Centered on the theme “Elevating Food Standards for a Healthier, Greener Future”, this year’s show saw a substantial expansion in scale. Its exhibition space rose by 35% compared with the previous edition, and the number of halls increased from 7 to 11. The event brought together over 700 exhibitors worldwide, attracting more than 24,000 food and beverage manufacturers, purchasers and R&D leaders from over 100 countries and regions.

GPC representatives introduced the Group’s industries and product portfolio to overseas visitors on site. The team held in-person discussions with food manufacturers and buyers from ASEAN nations including Indonesia and Malaysia, highlighting GPC’s flagship food-grade phosphoric acid and food-grade phosphate products. These products are widely applied in beverage processing, food preservation, acidity regulation, nutrition fortification and meat product modification, well catering to the mainstream demands of Southeast Asian beverage, snack and ready-to-eat food sectors. GPC staff elaborated on the Group’s strengths in resources, industry, products and talent, and addressed inquiries regarding product applications, halal certification and local compliance requirements.

Boasting a large population and a fast-growing food processing sector, Southeast Asia constitutes a key overseas market for GPC. This participation marks an important initiative for GPC to tap into international markets and expand its food additive business across ASEAN. Leveraging its robust supply chain and mature foreign trade services, GPC will continue developing tailored sales and service solutions for Southeast Asian end users, deepen cooperation with regional food manufacturers, improve product and service quality, and further expand its business footprint in Southeast Asia.
