On September 22, the 2025"Belt and Road" Chinese and Foreign Media Interview Tour entered China GPC. A delegation of nearly 50 media representatives from eight countries—including Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, South Korea, Thailand, and the Philippines — visited the group's production base to learn about its new achievements in serving national strategies and expanding its industrial chain through deep processing of phosphate ore resources.

Gordon He, Party Secretary and Chairman of China GPC, said that Guizhou is an important base for China's phosphate chemical industry. As a world-leading enterprise with a complete phosphate chemical industry chain, the group has always adhered to the principle of "creating greater value with as few resources as possible" in the development and utilization of phosphate ore and its associated resources. The group has built four industrial value chains—deep utilization of main elements, efficient utilization of associated resources, recycling of byproducts, and cross-sector utilization of multiple elements—to further achieve sustainable phosphate fertilizer production through four industrial dimensions of the phosphate chemical sector.

Gordon He Gives Keynote Speech

"The realization of a grand blueprint requires the wisdom of the world," He told the delegation. "I hope journalists around the world will focus on China GPC and share our resources, technology, and industrial advantages with the world. We will open our industrial platforms to provide a real verification environment and an industrialization fast track for cutting-edge interdisciplinary research in phosphate chemistry, jointly promoting the transformation of scientific breakthroughs into practical drivers of green change."

Delegation Visits On-site Inspection

The delegation visited the phosphogypsum factory of Guizhou Phosphate Green Environmental Protection Industry Co., Ltd., exploring its modern, large-scale, and automated phosphogypsum production facility. They witnessed a waterproof comparison test between high-quality anhydrite packaging boxes and traditional cartons, and expressed high praise for the group's technology and achievements in phosphogypsum industrialization.

Analisa Amu, Editor-in-Chief of the Brunei News Network, said China GPC as an industry leader, is world-class in many aspects—an exciting achievement. She added that the group's development reflects China's remarkable progress in advancing new industrialization, and she was delighted to have the opportunity to visit.

Myint Kyaw, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Myanmar's Ministry of Information, participated in the waterproof test of the anhydrite phosphogypsum packaging box. After being fully immersed in water for 15 seconds, the box still maintained excellent load-bearing performance. He said it was clearly different from traditional cartons, with outstanding quality that inspires confidence.

Kritkanchai Buadam, Director of Nakhon Si Thammarat Office of Thailand National Television, said the anhydrite phosphogypsum packaging box is very sturdy, has wide application prospects, and effectively utilizes industrial byproducts, making it highly beneficial for ecological and environmental protection.

This media interview tour is an important part of the 2025 "Belt and Road" Media Cooperation Forum. The delegation will visit Guiyang, Zunyi, and Anshun in Guizhou to cover key areas such as cultural and tourism integration, characteristic agriculture, ecological industry, technological innovation, and new urban formats, showcasing Guizhou's high-quality development practices.
